The RP-23H is a non contact rotary sensor which use Hall-effect technology. Designed for harsh environments with IP67 sealing giving high reliability and durability in the most challenging of uses. 
High temperature range of between -40°C and +150°C, Raychem  DR25 cable and small lightweight body. External contactless magnetic field actuated.  Supplied with Ø8mm magnet allows the sensor to operate with no internal moving parts ensuring long lifespan and maintenance  free operation. 
 
As standard it has a dual output ( one clockwise, one anti clock )  and measures 360 degrees. It uses the standard 38mm PCD mounting.
 
Requires a regulated 5 volt supply.  Output is ratiometric 10-90% of supply 
 
Contactless rotary pots are now used on Kaps and Holinger gearboxes.
